The association uses the brand "CUCO" for its business model. For this purpose, a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the trademarks in Germany exclusively for the fulfillment of the association's purposes according to § 4 No. 11 StBerG has been agreed with the trademark owner.

The license covers the use of the trademarks in the name of the company, in domains and accounts, on signage, print and online material as well as at events and information material. The use is always in accordance with professional and advertising regulations.

Tax Consultancy Act (StBerG)

The association is essentially subject to the professional regulations of the Tax Consultancy Act (StBerG). The professional regulations can be viewed, among other things, via the website of the Federal Ministry of Justice (www.gesetze-im-internet.de).

Territorial scope of the professional liability insurance:

The insurance cover only applies to liability claims arising from activities of the policyholder within Europe.

The following applies to claims with a foreign connection:

The insurance cover does not apply to liability claims arising from activities via subsidiaries, branches, branch offices of any kind located abroad or via companies affiliated through cooperation agreements.

The association does not participate in any dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of the Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VBSG).
